PDO Threads are synthetic, absorbable surgical sutures made of an FDA-approved material called Polydioxanone (PDO). Precisely and strategically inserted beneath the skin, these fine, dissolvable threads act as anchors to lift the skin, promoting collagen and tissue contraction to help restore skin’s firmness and volume. As a result, they offer a natural, non-surgical lifting and tightening effect helping to contour the face and body. procedure step-by-step
The first step is a complimentary consultation with one of our Practitioner. We will review your medical history, discuss your concerns, and explain expected results. Then we will answer any questions or concerns you may have about the procedure and get you scheduled.
Your Practitioner will collect about 2 ounces of your blood. Your blood will then be centrifugated to isolate the platelets and plasma. Then the platelet rich plasma will be collected in a syringe. For skin rejuvenation: A numbing cream is applied to the treatment area for a more comfortable experience. Your specialist will then cleanse the treatment area and use a pen made of a sterile, single-use micro-needling tip that will glide over your skin creating microchannels. Depth of penetration will be precisely monitored by your specialist to trigger the ideal skin’s response for best results. PRP will then be applied topically.
For skin rejuvenation: Your skin will feel as if you have a mild sun burn and tightness for a few hours. You may experience mild redness, localized swelling, and skin flaking, which typically resolve within 48 to 72 hours post-treatment. For hair restoration: You may experience mild sensitivity and tightness around the injected areas up to 48 hours.
